Sun Belt Football Win %

Revenue vs. Football Win % Over Past 15 Years

As you can see from this chart, despite the fact that TXST has the second highest revenue in the Sun Belt, we have the third lowest win % in the Sun Belt.

Our Football win % under Teis's tenure is on par with ULM, which has less than half of the annual revenue that TXST has.

Georgia Southern, Appalachian State, Troy, South Alabama, and ULL are all doing more with less.

Sun Belt Basketball Win %

Revenue vs. Basketball Win % Over Past 15 Years

Once again, our winning percentage over Teis's tenure at TXST is the second worst out of our core competition in the Sun Belt despite having the second highest total annual revenue.

Win % vs. Sun Belt Peers - Football

Football Win % Over Larry Teis's Tenure

As you can see, over Larry Teis's tenure, we have the 3rd worst winning percentage when compared to our peers in the Sun Belt.

Football Win % 2015-2017

Over the last 3 years, we have the worst winning percentage when compared with our Sun Belt peers. This comparison shows that it's only getting worse under Teis's leadership.

Win % vs. Sun Belt Peers - Basketball

Basketball Win % Over Larry Teis's Tenure

Over the entirety of Larry Teis's tenure, we are second to last in win % against our peers in the Sun Belt.

Basketball Win % 2015-2017

Over the last 3 years, we have managed to outpace our 15 year win % which ranks us 6th out of the current 11 peer universities in Sun Belt. Solid mediocre results from a mediocre AD. At least we are slowly trending upward under Kaspar Ball...

All-time Record vs. Sun Belt Teams

These are our all-time records in football vs the teams currently in the Sun Belt. The only team we have a winning record against is Coastal Carolina and when we played them in 2017, they were an FCS transitional team. As you can see, most of the winning percentages are in the 0-.2 range. This is absolutely unacceptable when you consider the fact that we have the 2nd largest to largest budget/revenue on a year to year basis.
